eSIM Setup Guide
iPhone Setup
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan
- Tap "Use QR Code" and scan the code from your email
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup
- Label your eSIM plan (e.g., "Travel Data")
- Choose which line to use for data
- Turn on Data Roaming for your eSIM
Android Setup
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
- Tap "Add eSIM" or "Add Mobile Plan"
- Select "Scan QR Code"
- Scan the QR code from your email
- Follow the setup wizard
- Enable the eSIM and set as default for data
Important Tips
- • Activate your eSIM when you arrive at your destination
- • Keep your QR code email safe - you can't transfer eSIM to another device
- • Turn off data roaming on your primary SIM to avoid charges
Troubleshooting
eSIM Not Connecting
Check these steps:
- Verify you're in a coverage area
- Restart your device
- Toggle Airplane Mode on/off
- Check that Data Roaming is enabled for eSIM
- Ensure eSIM is selected for data usage
Slow Internet Speed
Possible causes and solutions:
- Network congestion - try again later
- Location-based - speeds vary by area
- Data limit reached - speed reduced to 128kbps
- Background apps - close unnecessary apps
QR Code Won't Scan
Try these solutions:
- Ensure good lighting and steady hands
- Clean your camera lens
- Try entering eSIM details manually
- Request a new QR code if damaged
